OVERVIEW: This position is directly responsible administering all Demand Planning and S&OP activities within KB Americas. This person will maintain and improve upon existing Supply Chain functions as they pertain to forecasting, direct purchasing, importation, and trade compliance while maintaining a continuous, cost effective and controlled flow of products in support of business forecasts and goals.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Leads executive and continuous improvement of the enterprise S&OP Process and drives cross-functional accountability.
  • Partners closely with Sales Admin, Finance, and Marketing teams to ensure demand forecasts are closely tied to the strategy of KB Americas.
  • Drives development and maintenance of KPIs, dashboards, and reports for import logistics, forecast accuracy, and inventory management.
  • Manages team consisting of two direct reports, including an import logistics manager and a data analyst.
  • Owns cross-departmental and corporate purchasing, ensuring that internal client needs are met.
  • Works with the Head of Operations to devise and implement the company-wide strategy for all segments of Operations including Purchasing, Sales Planning, and Inventory Management inclusive of 3PL, assembly production, and our overseas manufacturers.
  • Fosters a hands-on approach to driving results in a fast-paced, short cycle and demanding customer fulfillment environment.
  • Leads and manages all aspects of the Purchasing and Inventory Management functions, particularly with the planning and execution of a successful inventory management strategy by working with sales, finance, and executive leadership.
  • Build internal and external relationships to support new products introductions and new product development sourcing.
  • Prepares annual budgets, business plans, and operating goals/objectives for the purchasing and inventory management functions with the Head of Operations as part of the business’ annual strategic planning process.
  • Drive high performance team through strong leadership to direct and non-direct reports. Foster collaboration cross-functionally and within team.
  • Seeks to promote and cultivate the company and brand awareness with external partners.

CORE REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field.
  • 5-7 years of professional experience related to Demand Planning / inventory management / supply chain.
  • Experience in the luxury or beauty industries is a must.
  • Experience in the Beauty or Consumer Goods Industries a plus!
  • Experience working with SAP is a must; knowledge of S4 HANA is a plus!
  • Excellent analytical skills; advanced knowledge of MS Excel is mandatory. Experience with Power BI is a differentiator.
  • Proven knowledge of S&OP lifecycle, to include concepts of Forecast Accuracy, E&O policy, NPD planning, and Inventory policy.
  • Excellent communication skills in both formal and informal environments, capable of delivering data-driven concepts to a variety of audiences.
  • Experience managing multiple direct reports is a plus.
  • Able to contribute to a best-in-class environment through best practices and process improvement.
