OVERVIEW: We are seeking a Retail Operations Associate to join our team at Kering Beauté, supporting Creed and Mizensir Boutiques in the US and Canada. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creation, monitoring, and enforcement of inventory and cash management process flows for Kering Beauté Boutiques in assigned regions. This person will play a crucial role at the intersection of the Operations, Accounting, Sales Admin, and Boutique teams, strengthening internal controls, establishing KPIs and reporting, and implementing audit procedures as Kering Beauté rapidly expands this key pillar of our growth strategy.


CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Inventory and Cash Management
  • Develops, audits, and enforces process and training documentation for Inventory and Cash Management controls in boutiques.
  • Conducts in-person audits of all boutiques on a bi-annual basis, ensuring adherence to established group and Kering Beauté Americas standards, reporting audit results to key leaders, and
  • Conducts benchmarking exercises with other retail organizations within the Kering group. Documents industry best practices and ensures standards for Retail Operations at Kering Beauté Americas align with industry and group norms.
  • Gains familiarity with Kering Group norms and implements them in day-to-day boutique operations.
  • Collaborates with Distribution Operations and Sales Operations / Admin teams, ensure smooth, thoughtful, and accurate ordering, flow, and receipt of product into Boutiques.
  • Recommends creation of KPIs and associated reporting to Head of Operations, Director of US Boutiques, and US AVP – Controller. Creates reports and dashboards using MS Excel and Power BI as needed.

Store Operations
  • Lead the organization and setup of all new boutiques to ensure alignment with brand standards.
  • Partner with existing boutiques to standardize and optimize back-of-house (BOH) operations.
  • Oversee the end-to-end ordering and replenishment process, ensuring accurate and timely receipt of merchandise.
  • Manage all aspects of cash flow and deposits in collaboration with General Managers and Finance.
  • Coordinate and streamline stock deliveries to boutiques, with a focus on minimizing Friday and Saturday shipments.
  • Approve and support the return process for stock, testers, and visual merchandising (VM) materials.
  • Maintain a dotted-line relationship with the Director of Boutiques (DOB), Operations, and Finance teams to ensure cross-functional alignment.
  • Provide ongoing support and training to all Operations Leads (OLs).
  • Ensure accurate tracking and documentation of all inbound and outbound shipments to and from boutiques.
  • Own the inventory management process, including regular cycle counts and reconciliation.
  • Manage inventory adjustments with appropriate approvals.

CORE REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, Supply Chain or Business Finance preferred.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
  • 2+ years of experience related to accounting, operations, supply chain, or data analytics.
  • Luxury/Beauty consumer goods experience is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration/problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams projects and drive process improvement.
  • Knowledge of industry best practices and trends in supply chain management.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of SAP or comparable ERP is a plus.
  • Bilingual in Spanish/French a plus but not necessary.
